Shoreham: A Home Among the Vines
A Dream home in Shoreham's Green Wedge Zone.
Prossor Town Planning recently completed a project that involved the creation of a family home nestled in Shoreham’s scenic Green Wedge Zone on the Mornington Peninsula. This project was a delicate blend of planning precision and environmental sensitivity, meeting the client’s vision for a beautiful rural property while navigating complex bushfire, wastewater, and agricultural guidelines to preserve the area’s natural beauty.
Navigating Challenges with Careful Planning
Our client had a clear vision for their home’s setting amidst the rolling hills and vineyards but achieving this required careful planning due to strict Council regulations. Working closely with our Bushfire Consultant and the CFA, we devised a site-specific vegetation response that met all safety standards without compromising the native greenery. This collaboration allowed us to strike a harmonious balance between safety and environmental preservation, essential for a home in this location.
Achieving Harmony with Nature and Vision
Through collaboration with Council, we identified the ideal location for the home, providing a stunning rural outlook while maintaining the land’s agricultural value. Approval for removing specific cypress and pine trees allowed the client to prepare the soil for future vineyards, enhancing the property’s agricultural potential.
The result is a home that integrates seamlessly with its surroundings, offering stunning views and room for growth with vineyards that will flourish for years to come.
This project showcases Prossor Town Planning’s commitment to bringing our clients' ideas to life, leveraging our local knowledge and expertise to navigate planning complexities smoothly and effectively.
